HAPPY 4th of JULY!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe weekend!! We had a great one. We decided to stay low key this year and just spend it with family. I don't want to miss a single holiday with Kagen because before I know it she will want to spend that time with her friends! We went to church that morning and had a great service. Bro. Robbie brought up some really good points. In America, we have so many freedoms that people, including me, take those freedoms for granted. We can pray in public, go to church, have bible studies, spread the word of God to others and so on. All this without the fear of being put in jail or worse. I love America and I love Texas!! I feel very blessed to be a part of this amazing country....and TEXAS!

After church I shot a couple pictures of Kagen before heading home. It was too bright so I couldn't get Kagen to look up. She looked cute anyways.

We came home for the afternoon so Kagen could take a nap since she would be staying up so late. I REALLY wanted her to see fireworks. That evening we headed to my parent's for dinner and homemade ice cream. YUMMMO! Then we went to the church to watch the amazing fireworks. They did a really great job. Kagen was a little scared at first and would not let go of me until she saw her Daddy, then she wanted him to hold her. After the intial shock she was loving it!!

It was pretty funny when we all showed up wearing red

I still can't believe she will be 2yrs old in just a few months.

Here's a video of Kagen and Lex watching the show. I have the camera set on night vision so that's why their eyes look a little scary.
