Here we go!

We have been going non-stop for weeks now. Kagen has been such a trooper with all the running around. She is not only cutting her top molars, I noticed that she is also cutting two more of her top front teeth. On top of all that she has a cough that creeps in during the night but, disapears during the day. Weird.... I decided since she seemed to be feeling a little crummy we would have a lazy lazy day. Just hang out in our pjs and watch cartoons. It was very much needed and I enjoyed snuggling with my little baby doll.

After Kagen's afternoon nap we ran to Hobby Lobby and Wal-mart to get some supplies for our New Years Eve bash. It's going to get crazy in the Richardson household! Just kidding. I'm really looking forward to spending New Year's Eve with my little family.

Lex had to go to Paris, Texas today for work. I hate that he had to drive so far today but, I am thankful that he has work. The Lord has blessed me with such an awesome husband that works hard for his family. He's also a really really great Dad. Whoops! There I go getting all mushy again, sorry. It's okay in small doses. =) That being said, Kagen and I were on our own for dinner. I decided grilled cheese sandwiches sounded yummo. I was right, they were! Now we're just waiting on Daddy to come home.

Christmas!

WOW. What a great Christmas we had this year! We were busy busy but, enjoyed every single moment of it. Kagen raked in lots of goodies. Our families have done a great job spoiling her but, she won't be rotten I promise. =) If I didn't tell you, thank you all for the wonderful gifts you gave Kagen, Lex and I. We are so blessed to have the families we have. So much love coming at us from all directions!

We had our annual Christmas Eve Eve get together with Billy and Kathy. (Lex's Dad and Step-mom) Kagen got shoes, shoes and more shoes from her GiGi, she knows her way to Kagen's heart. She also got some fun toys too!

After opening presents we went to Nanny's house for dinner and to visit with Lex's family that came in from Virginia.

Awwww, Christmas Eve! Lex stayed home with Kagen while I went to my parent's house to help my mom get food ready for the Christmas Dinner. While I was there it started snowing!! It never snows, so we were really excited! Of course we had to go out and play in it. People from up North would think we were crazy for getting excited about a few flakes, if you could call them that, that don't even stick to the ground! But, it was awesome.

So pretty

Lex and Kagen showed up after the snow but, luckily Kagen got to see some of it in Tyler. We spent the rest of the evening relaxing and eating yummy snacks that we made.

Grandma let Kagen open one gift Christmas Eve

Christmas Story blocks! Such a neat gift to teach Kagen the true meaning of Christmas.

Daddy's girl through and through

Aunt Lindsey's here!

And finally the big day has arrived! Christmas Day!!! I was so excited and ran in to wake Kagen to show her all the goodies that Santa brought her. I don't think she cared much at first but, once she realized that she was getting more toys, she got a little more excited.

Checking out her new ride

Failed attempt to take a picture under the tree.

We headed to Nanny's for lunch and presents, then to my Mom and Dad's for dinner and more presents!

I didn't take any pictures of the gifts she got at Nanny's because I was helping open them. Hopefully others got pictures and I can steal them!!!

More shoes from Aunt Lindsey!

Our stockings at my parent's house.

What every girl needs, a purse.

Coming to an end.

I'm so sad at how quickly this year has gone by. December is probably one of my most favorite months, though. I love love love Christmas time. We celebrate the birth of Jesus, which I think many people forget, spend time with family and friends and of course presents are fun too! Every year I rush, rush, rush around Christmas time and before I know it, it's gone. This year I have been trying to slow down and enjoy every single moment, because you never know what the next day will bring.

This past Saturday we had Christmas with my mother-in-law's side of the family. We had a wonderful lunch and Kagen got some really neat gifts!

I love this little girl.

Helping Daddy get lunch ready

Playing with presents that Mo got her.

It was decided that this year we wouldn't exchange gifts, which is okay with me and my wallet! Lex and I wanted to give everyone a picture of Kagen. It was a big hit.

Playing with her drums that Aunt Cha Cha got her.

MiMi got Kagen such a neat little learning toy. It hooks up to the TV and each time she bounces the character on the screen changes.

The following day we went to church and then to my very good friend's house to visit her and her sweet new baby. He was born on Dec. 11 and is as cute as can be!

Ready for Church!

Annnnd, we're done.

Sweet little Kendall

Not too sure about him

Getting a little close

Kagen refused to look at Kendall. It was so funny, she would look every but, at him.

Why is Momma holding that baby?!

Amanda gave Kagen the neatest Christmas present! The Elf on the Shelf. Each day he hides in a different spot, watching over the kids, and he returns to the North Pole each night to tell Santa if they were naughty or nice. We named our elf Ziggy. I think Kagen is going to have fun with this gift. Thank you Aunt Amanda!!

Where's Ziggy?

There he is!

Almost bedtime!

GiGi got Kagen these adorable pajamas!

She love's reading books

Snoopy (Kagen's bff)

I hope everyone has a very blessed Chrismas!!
