I have started using this amazing little invention called a Belly Belt (Get one if you haven't all you prego mommies!!). It allows me to continue to wear my normal jeans a little longer. I’m pretty sure I’ll give in and get maternity jeans, soon….

Sleep: Not great but, I never sleep all that great.

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach

Cravings: Chocolate, Breakfast food, Chick-fil-a, also cookies-n-cream ice cream. I can’t get enough!!

Symptoms: Still have heartburn...

Best Moment this week: Watching my tummy move around. It’s amazing!!!

I don't look like it, but I can tell I'm carrying Kalli higher than I carried Kagen.  She likes to push on my lungs!!!   The only thing we have done so far was get bedding, thanks GiGi!  Other than that we are slackers.  lol   I may be a little too laid back this time.  We should start painting her room within the next couple of weeks and start working on her dresser.  Also, I'm DREADING this summer heat.   It's already been in the upper 80's here.  YIKES!

I think my tummy looks about the same size in both pictures now

I had to add this picture.  Kagen wanted to be in the photo with me this morning.

Happy Easter!

Yesterday we took Kagen to an Easter egg hunt that our church held.  She had so much fun looking for eggs and running around with all the other kids.

We had a wonderful church service this morning and listened to some beautiful music that the choir sang.  After church we went to my parent's house for lunch and another egg hunt.  Kagen is a pro now!!  It turned out to be such a gorgeous day!   We don't have church this evening so we are just going to take it easy the rest of the day and do nothing.   I hope everyone had a blessed Easter!!

Our Weekend

We started our Easter this weekend at Mo and Pop's.   We had so much fun with everyone and Kagen really enjoyed hunting eggs.  I hated to see the day end.   At one point we tried to empty Kagen's basket to make more room for new eggs but, she DID NOT want us to touch her eggs.  haha!!

mmm strawberries!!

The big kids got to hunt eggs too!!

Sunday evening our church was blessed with music by the African Children's Choir. We got Kagen out of the nursery after our Bible study so she could watch the children, she loved them! They were wonderful!! It touched my heart seeing those sweet faces sing praises to the Lord. They were adorable too!! If you have some time you can visit their website HERE and you can even donate if you'd like. I'm so glad I was able to watch their performance.

I found this video on their website and thought I'd share it.

Water!!

Last Thursday we discovered the tank to our hall toilet was leaking.  How did we notice?  Kagen was running through the hall having a ball and when I went to check on her, there she was is water!!!! NOOOO!  Thanks to our wonderful neighbor we were able to get most of the water up.  The water went under the wood floors in the hall and living room, into Kagen's room, our room and the office.  Yuck...

The next day we had a company come out and put all kinds of water drying equipment out.  It was loud.  VERY LOUD.  There was no way we could stay in this house.  Thankfully, Kathy and Billy were able to keep Kagen at her house while I stayed with my Mom and Dad Friday.  Lex decided to stay home because he had to work and didn't want to drive from Lindale to Frankston the next day.  I think he may have regretted that choice.  ;)   Saturday through Tuesday Lex and I stayed with his Nanny who lives next to door to Billy and Kathy so Kagen could still stay there.   We ended up having a great weekend and stayed pretty busy.  That helped take our minds off the house, some....   Luckily the damage isn't too bad and we only have to replace some of the wood flooring.   The Lord was watching over our house!!

We want to send a BIG THANK YOU to our family that opened their doors to us.  And to our amazing friends that offered help.  We are SO BLESSED.  You have no idea how lucky we feel to have such awesome people around us.  Thank you all so, so, so, so very much!!

We had 14 of these bad boys in the house....

Mineola

Lex, Kagen and I spent part of the morning in downtown Mineola.  We walked around and looked at a few shops there.  It was such a beautiful day today!!!   I was so glad Lex got to hang out with us, he has been working so much these past few days, PRAISE THE LORD, but we have missed him.

Trying hard to be like Daddy and prop her foot up.

Pictures!

Last year Erin and I took our kiddos to the Azalea Trails to take some pictures and we decided to do the same this year.  Sadly, we didn't make it in time to see the blooms but, we still got some great pictures!  Afterwards we went the the Rose Garden and the roses were gorgeous.  They smelled wonderful too.  The kids had a blast running around but, their main joy was seeing the water!!

Poor Kagen also had a nasty fall while we were at the Rose Garden.  When we got home Lex said it looked like she had been in a fight. ha!!   She cried for a bit but, then she was ready to get back to playing with her friends.
