Catch up

These past four days have been so busy but, fun!  Here's a short recap of our "four day" weekend.

Friday- Kagen spent the day with Lex while Kathy and I went to Dallas.   We went to Ikea for the first time and WOW..... That place is huge!  We felt a little overwhelmed to say the least.  Ha!  We went to the mall in Frisco and then we found a shopping center near by with a Carter's in it.  Woo hoo!!  I love Carter's clothing.  Especially on sale.  Everything was 50-60% off and then another 20% off the purchase.  Awesome.

Saturday- I had made plans with a friend of mine to go Yard Sale shopping for items to revamp.  I found this adorable toddler table and chairs for $10!!  I had to get it. I'm still in the process of putting the final touches on it, then I can sell it.  I hope.  While we were out and about, Lex and Kagen went to Brody's 3rd birthday party.  Kagen had a blast and drank lots of Sprite.  She was wound up when I got home.  Later that afternoon we took Kagen to the Children's Park so she could run off her energy.

Sunday- Since we joined the church last week they recommended that we attend a New Members Sunday School class for about 5 weeks.  We had our first class yesterday morning.  We told a little about ourselves and took a tour of the church.  I think this class is a really great idea.  We're going to learn the history of the church and all kinds of neat things.  I'm also going to start helping with Awana on Wednesday nights.  I'm pretty excited about it too!! 

Finally, today- Lex and I spent most of the day cleaning here and there.  The house is in desperate need of attention.  We had dinner at my parent's house tonight along with my Grandma, sister, brother-in-law, Billy and Kathy.  After dinner we watched Kagen play around outside in this perfect weather!  Kagen went to spend the night with Billy and Kathy tonight so hopefully I can CLEAN this poor house.
