Bye Bye Weekend

These last 4 days have been AWESOME and I am so sad to see it end. Thursday was my 27th birthday, and I think I'm really going to enjoy this age! Lex couldn't wait, so he gave me my Birthday/Mother's Day gift a week early. And, what's really neat about mine and Lex's birthdays is that mine is always by Mother's Day and Lex's is always by Father's day. How neat is that?? I love it! It's like a neverending celebration! He and Kagen got me an iPod Touch. It's really neat but, now I have to find the time to figure it out. (Kagen keeps me pretty busy)

Thursday, my Dad took Lex, me and Kagen out to lunch at where else, Chick-fil-a! ha! I'm an addict what can I say?

That evening we all went to my parent's house for a little family birthday party. My Mom cooked for us and made me a chocolate chocolate cake. YUMMMO!





Friday, Kagen went to my parent's house to stay the weekend. Last time that happened she was with Bill Bill and GiGi and Lex and I both had the stomach virus. I didn't have time to miss her then but, I was REALLY missing her once Saturday night rolled around.
Me and a friend of mine share a birthday so we decided to all go out with some of our friends for a birthday dinner. It was so much fun and SO good to see everyone. I've been on full force Mommy Duty for a while and sometimes I feel like I never see anyone anymore!

Saturday, Lex and I went to a neat look out place near Jacksonville. Lover's lookout? I can't remember the name.... We had so much fun goofing around and being silly with each other. It was nice to hang out with my hubby, just me and him, for a while. =)



Later that day, my sweet friend Courtney had a graduation party at her house. She is now an RN!! Whoo HOO! I'm so proud of her! She likes school so much that she's going to go back to become a Nurse Practitioner. Again, it was so much fun hanging out with all my sweet friends.

And finally, today... MOTHER'S DAY! I was so ready to get to church and see my sweet baby girl! I think she was pretty happy to see me and Lex too. After church we went over to my parent's house along with Billy, Kathy, my Grandma and Uncle to have a Mother's Day BBQ. After lunch we went to visit Lex's Grandparents, Mo and Pop.
