Easter 2009
We had such a great weekend, I was sad to see it go. Saturday we worked outside all day getting the yard and flower beds pretty. It was a job but, it looks great now! Easter Sunday we all got up to see what the Easter bunny brought Kagen. We went to church and had an awesome service. I think we get so caught up in the Easter Bunny and gifts that we forget that the real reason we celebrate Easter is that Jesus has RISEN and He is ALIVE!! What an awesome thing to celebrate. After church we had lunch at my parents' house and Bill Bill and GiGi joined us too! Kagen got to open presents and hunt eggs. She caught on real quick! After all that fun we came home to rest but, Kagen wasn't in the mood for that so we packed her up and headed to the zoo. It turned out to be such a gorgeous day! We had to soak in every minute. This was the best weekend yet! And with all this warm beautiful weather, I see many more great ones to come!

This picture makes me smile because she stayed in this pose for what seemed like forever so that my sister could take her picture. haha! She's going to be a model. =)
