Gran's Table
My Gran, who passed away 4 years ago this November, had 3 matching side tables. My sister has two of them and I took the other one. It just needed a little TLC. My sister painted and decoupaged her two tables this weekend and they are gorgeous! As soon as she emails me pictures I will post them.
For now, I'll show you my table.
Before I put her back together.

Some Gorilla Glue and black spray paint and she's brand new again.

After!! I love the way it turned out. I have a vase picked out that I want to put on the table but, I'm waiting on Hobby Lobby to put it 1/2 price. =)

I used some sandpaper to scuff up the edges to give it more character.

I'm not sure what my Gran would think of the color and pattern but, I think she would be tickled to know that my sister and I are using her furniture. I love my Gran so much and I sure can't wait to see her again.

Fit for a Princess
I ran to Hobby Lobby today to pick up some scrapbook paper and while I was there I wanted to look around and see if there was anything fun I could decorate. I found the cutest little jewelry box for $3! I'm not going to use it as a jewelry box though. I wanted it more as decoration to put on Kagen's shelf. It was cheap and easy. I spray painted it pink, added the decorative paper and some bling.

More arts and crafts....and organzing
After I made the "K" for Kagen's room I decided to make a matching frame with the left over scrap book paper. It turned out so cute!! I think I'm addicted to Mod Podge now.
How cute is this???

Another little project that I was working on, along with my Momma, was a banner to hang above her classroom door. Their theme this year is peace and love, so we found some really cute paper to make the banner out of.

It turned out so cute!!

I also wanted to make some fridge magnets and a few for my Mom's classroom. I've learned to NEVER get rid of scraps of paper. You can always find a use for it!
They're not put back together yet but, I'm loving them!

Lex and I cleaned our house this past week. I mean CLEANED it. We just had clutter everywhere and it needed to be sorted through and thrown away or put up. My first goal was to get Kagen's closet in order. It wasn't bad, it just had a lot of stuff in it that needed to be boxed and put in the attic. I wanted to snap a picture of it because I'm in love with the closet. It's neat and organized. Also, Lex did a GREAT job setting it up.

Arts and Crafts
I've been feeling crafty lately, so I decided to make Kagen something for her room. Me and a friend made something similar to these for her little boy and I just never got around to making one for Kagen. So here it is!!
Before

I LOVE these patterns together!

After! I may add more details to it, I haven't decided yet.
